    A new online platform was developed for i-D Magazine, designed to showcase bold imagery and compelling stories. Built with a custom WordPress theme and custom plugins (PHP), the focus was on optimizing both the reader’s experience and the editorial workflow. Editors were provided with tools to easily manage content and curate the site. The front-end was carefully crafted to ensure a responsive and visually clean interface that performs smoothly across various devices. This project was created at Antinomy Studio.

  • Packbags

    Packbags.nl offers a fully modular and circular bag system, with over 100 modules that allow customers to assemble their own custom bags. In collaboration with designer Gaetan Ferhah, the webshop was revamped to highlight this innovative system. During the development phase, a custom Shopify theme (Liquid) was created to support a flexible inventory system for both individual modules and assembled bags. To emphasise the modularity of the project, a product customiser was integrated, this to allow customers to visualize their designs in real-time.

    IAAH or i am always hungry, is a portfolio site showcasing a variety of visuals created by the studio. The design features an ever-changing grid for highlighted projects and an infinite grid layout, ensuring that visitors never experience the same site twice. During development, attention was given to accessibility by implementing color contrast checkers to evaluate a randomly generated color palette based on the imagery. This approach ensured that the site is visually engaging while remaining legibility. This project was created at Antinomy Studio.

    Chainzoku is an interactive website introducing a NFT collection with a bold graphics. It features interactive sections and scroll animations to keep users engaged while exploring the collection and its mission. Apart from fine-tuning the animations and interactions, another challenge was maintaining the website’s performance. This involved leveraging CSS for animations and optimizing both assets and techniques to ensure smooth performance. This project was created at Antinomy Studio.

  • Sustainable Digital Design

    Wonderland developed Sustainable Digital Design, an environmentally conscious platform aimed at minimizing the digital carbon footprint. Collaboration occurred on a freelance basis to update and evolve the SDD site (launched early 2022) into a true community platform, with sustainability as a primary focus throughout the development process. The softlaunch featured an interactive quiz designed to test users' knowledge of digital sustainability and energy consumption. Version 2 introduced a landing page centered on community connection and thought leadership. The design combined playful yet informative content with (dotLottie) animations, Tally forms, and SVG sprite sheets, enhancing user engagement and interaction.

  • BNVC

    A small yet playful website was developed for BNVC (Best Nights Venture Capital), Jaegermeister’s investment unit focusing on startups that integrate consumer technology with nightlife and entertainment. The site features subtle scroll and micro animations to enhance user engagement. Additionally, a password-protected page was created to showcase more in-depth information.   • Ondersteboven van Jou

    Ondersteboven van Jou was created for the JEF Festival as an interactive game aligned with the festival theme of 'upside down' (in Dutch: 'ondersteboven'). The phrase ‘ondersteboven zijn van iemand’ translates to 'being crazy about someone,' which inspired the game’s concept. This gesture-based game, designed for children around the age of seven, incorporates audio guidance to provide explanations and support throughout the gameplay. Developed using PoseNet (TensorFlow) and Phaser, a custom plugin was created to ensure seamless integration between the two tools. An article was also written to document the development process and share insights on the integration.

  • Geraakt

    Geraakt was an interactive installation designed for the Memento Woordfestival (2021), facilitating intimate connections between visitors and authors of the collective “De Letterzetters” through the simple act of touching each other's palms. The installation functioned as an interactive canvas, utilizing the Kinect V2 depth sensor, projection mapping, and Unity for seamless integration. The development process was iterative, with significant focus placed on leveraging the depth sensor to trigger animations and sound effects within Unity. This approach ultimately enhanced the overall experience of the installation.
